EMED - 4406 Teaching Social Studies in the Elementary Grades (3)

Introduces teacher candidates to Common Core content, methods, and materials for teaching social studies in the elementary grades. Explores options for making effective instructional decisions. Prerequisites: Take EMED-3402 , EMED-3404 , EMED-3405 , EMED-3420 and EMED-3425 ; Also required 9 hours of social sciences coursework. Corequisites: Take EMED-4402 , EMED-4404 , EMED-4405 , and EMED-4425 .
