EMED - 4405 Teaching Mathematics in the Elementary Grades (3)

Introduces teacher candidates to the Common Core content, methods, and materials for teaching mathematics in the elementary grades.  Explores options for making effective instructional decisions. Prerequisites: Take MATH-2131 , MATH-2141 , and one additional 3-hour MATH elective with grades of C or better in each; EMED-3402 , EMED-3404 , EMED-3405 , EMED-3420  and EMED-3099 . Corequisites: Take EMED-4402 , EMED-4404 , EMED-4406 , and EMED-4425 .
