EMED - 3404 Developmental Reading in the Elementary Grades (3)

Introduces teacher candidates to the Common Core content, methods, and materials for teaching reading in the elementary grades.   Examines state and national standards and explores options for making sound instructional decisions. Prerequisites:  Take EDUC-2310 , EMED-3099 , EMED-3321 , EMED-3333 . Must be admitted to the Professional Education Unit of the Division of Education. Corequisites: EMED-3402 , EMED-3405 , EMED-3420 , and EMED-3425 .
