Psychology Minor

An undergraduate minor in Psychology is offered to students majoring in other fields through the . This minor is particularly appropriate for those students whose area of study relies heavily upon knowledge of psychology, as well as for those students who simply desire additional work in psychology.

Requirements for the Minor
Students must:
- complete at least nine hours of course work at Governors State University;
- submit transfer courses to the minor advisor for approval by the first week of the term of intended graduation;
- complete the minimum number of hours identified in each of the four areas; and
- complete all coursework applied toward the minor with grades of a “C” or better.
