ANTH - 3100 Trends in Cross-Cultural Analysis (3) Applies theory and concepts cultural anthropologist have developed to interpret the collective construction of meaningful human action and agency in the face of contemporary social issues. The emphasis is on analysis of the dialectical relationship between culture, social institutions, and collective action in a changing globally interconnected world. Prepares students to engage and evaluate academic and public discourse on a range of contemporary social issues. Instructional Method: LD Lecture-Discussion Prerequisites: Take ANTH - 1100 Cultural Anthropology (3) or instructors permission.
