ART - 2450 Introduction to Graphic Design (3) Explores the fundamentals of graphic design to all art students who need to develop digital material for print and web. The course focuses on fundamental concepts and visual communications skills necessary for graphic design. Introduction to the production of printed materials involving integrating document and word processing programs, working with images and typography, custom colors, illustrations, and image manipulation software (3 lecture and 3 studio; 6 total contact hours).
