EMED - 4443 Curriculum and Instruction in the Middle Grades (3) Explores components of the Middle School philosophy and meeting the educational needs of middle grades learners. Examines a variety of instructional and assessment strategies including differentiated instruction, backward design, blended learning, and others to equip teacher candidates to implement an engaged and interactive curriculum in their classrooms. Prerequisites: Take EDUC-2310 , EDUC-3440 , and EMED-4442 (may be taken as a co-requisite with instructor permission).
