EMED - 3420 Methods of Teaching Creative Arts in the Elementary Grades (3)

Provides teacher candidates with the theoretical background for integrating arts (i.e. art, music, creative movement/dance, and drama) concepts into elementary curricula.  Provides opportunities to learn skills and strategies that will enable the future teacher to integrate the arts across the curriculum while developing the whole child.  Prerequisites: SPED-2100 , EDCP-2101 , EMED-3199 , EMED-3321 , and EMED-3333 ; Corequisites: EMED-3400 , EMED-3404 , EMED-3405 , EMED-3425 ,  and EDUC-3440 .
