FIN - 3501 Investments (3)

Involves study of the principles of investment securities with varying degrees of risk and return. Includes topics on investment risk, historical risk-return relationships, valuation of alternative financial instruments, technical analysis, procedures of the securities industry, formula investing, tax considerations, investment companies, and personal investment policy. Instructional Method: Lecture-Discussion Offered Fall Semester. Equivalent to FIN-460. Prerequisite: FIN - 3110 Principles of Financial Management (3) .
