CJUS - 2300 Introduction to Juvenile Justice (3)

Reviews and analyzes the juvenile justice system in the United States with a focus on the history and philosophies of society’s reaction to juvenile behavior and problems, interaction among the police, judiciary, and corrections within the context of cultural influences, and the influence of causation and control theoretical perspectives to explain deviant behavior.
