CJUS - 3099 Junior Seminar in Criminal Justice (3) Introduces current and transfer students to trends, policies, and practices in the field of criminal justice by examining both historical and contemporary research of a number of relevant topics. Participation in a series of writing assignments and a class-selected service learning project will enable students to work with the community to address issues related to social welfare, encourage reflection and analysis, and improve communication skills. This course has been designated as a Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) course. Prerequisite: take CJUS 2100
