Students who first enroll at Governors State University during the 2019-2020 academic year must fulfill the requirements stated in this catalog and its updates, as applicable, or they may elect to substitute the requirements in any subsequent catalog published while they are enrolled in the university. A student must, however, meet the requirements from one catalog only, rather than choosing a portion from one catalog and the remainder from another.
