ART - 2405 Introduction to Digital Arts (3) Introduces computer applications in the visual arts. Integration of computer hardware, software and peripheral devices as tools to create and combine traditional and contemporary visual ideas will be covered. Involves both theoretical understanding and practical application in the utilization of computer hardware and software to capture, combine, manipulate, and generate two-dimensional visual images in both art and design. Requires 3 hours Lecture / 3 hours Studio Lab (6 contact hours). Instructional Method: ARLS. Terms Offered: Fall, Spring and Summer.
