ANSO - 3700 Anthropology and Sociology of Power (3)

Examines power, politics, and social change form a cross-cultural and social science perspective. Explores the theoretical development of political anthropology; how power is reproduced and contested; intersections of race, class, gender, and ethnicity; globalization and development; power relations between nations and communities; structural violence and social change.
