ART - 3314 American Art: Diverse Views (3) Studies the art and architecture of the United States from the colonial period to the present. Covers diverse viewpoints of a multicultural society and assesses major themes by a variety of American artists. Analyzes works in a cross-cultural and interdisciplinary manner, assessing the role of race, ethnicity, class, gender, and sexuality in the creation and interpretation of American art.
