SOC - 3600 Doing Sociological Research (3)


Practices empirical research methods in sociology through quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis. Discusses the principal assumptions underlying methodological approaches, and students evaluate appropriate methods based upon research questions. Applies sociological theory and academic research in research design, execution, and data analysis. Prerequisite: Take at least 2 course (6 credit hours) from ANSO or SOC at the 1000 or 2000 level, or request instructor permission.
