MATH - 2100 Elementary Statistics (3) Emphasizes the fundamentals of descriptive and inferential statistics, including graphing, measures of central tendency, probability, the normal distribution, estimation, hypothesis testing, t-test, chi-square, regression, correlation, and analysis of variance. Data from real world problems and the use of graphing calculators and statistical software will be used. IAI Gen Ed: M1 902. Prerequisite: A minimum ALEKS placement score of 26; or completion of a college level mathematics course with a grade of “C” or better; or successful completion of AP or CLEP testing for mathematics. Corequisite: For those who have not met one of the prerequisite options, must enroll in corequisite course MATH-2101 .
