PHYS - 1111 Physical Science Foundations (3) Covers major physical science principles of the universe as simply and clearly as possible. Explains the science processes and methods that will lead to today’s picture of the universe and the earth’s place in it. Topics covered include motion, gravity, energy, and momentum. The theory of relativity is introduced. Covers matter in its three states, kinetic-molecular models, and the laws of thermodynamics. Equivalent to PHYS-302. Prerequisite: take MATH-1423 .
