NURS - 8675 Nursing Informatics Project Seminar (3)

Provides the graduate student with field experiences in implementing the role of informatics nurse specialist. Students work in selected health care settings serving minority and underserved populations incorporating advanced practice learning with a nursing or health information specialist and course faculty. A needs assessment is conducted and a plan is developed for a project to be implemented in NURS-876. Equivalent to NURS-875. Corequisite course: NURS-8976.
