BIOL - 6112 Human Genetics (3)

Considers the biological basis of human heredity, by examining the principles of classical, molecular, and population genetics and their application to current issues in human heredity, including inheritance disorders, sex determination, carcinogenesis and health, genetic engineering, genetic counseling, reproductive technologies, evolution, and bioethics. Equivalent to BIOL-512. Prerequisites: take MATH-2141  and take MATH-1423  or MATH-2131 .
