ASTR - 5201 Charting the Night Sky (1)

Discusses the celestial sphere and the relations among the apparent motions of the sun, moon, and planets with respect to the stars. Emphasizes how to locate and identify bright stars, constellations, and planets in the night sky. Equivalent to ASTR-500. Prerequisite: take MATH-1423 .
