MUS - 1100 Music Appreciation (3)

Develops students’ understanding of form, content, musical elements and how composers employed these devices to create music throughout the history of western music from 450 A.D. to the present. This course also includes a look at world music, blues, jazz, rock as well as music for the stage and screen. Instructional Method: Offered: Lecture-Discussion, Online. Fall, Spring, Summer.
