CJUS - 4200 Women in the Justice System (3)

Explores the theoretical perspectives, correctional practices, and treatment issues relating to women in the justice system.  Examines why the female population has been largely ignored by mainstream criminal justice theories and research, and how future research and public policy might affect females in the justice system.  Instructional Method: Lecture-Discussion, Online.
