EDUC - 4301 Secondary Microteaching I 1 Provides opportunities for students to make, implement, and evaluate decisions under supervision in teaching at the high school or middle school level. Involves working with and teaching middle grades or high school students in a 6-12 classroom environment. Requires minimum 15 hours of field experience.
Instructional Method: SV Supervisory Fall, Spring Restricted to students enrolled in secondary teacher education programs. Prerequisite: None Students must simultaneously enroll in both EDUC 4301 and the first methods course in their program, ENGL 4575 Reading Theory and Practice, or EDUC 4330 Principles of Science Education, or EDUC 4360 Principles of Secondary Mathematics Education, or EDUC 4380 Methods of Teaching in Social Science I.
