CJUS - 4340 Restorative Justice in School (3)

Highlights the implementation and support of restorative practices in schools and community-based organizations. Students learn about working closely with School Resource Officers to develop and implement restorative practices. Students learn how to work with youth and implement a student-led restorative justice team and to organize and give formal and informal presentations to audiences to raise awareness about restorative practices in schools. Instructional Method: Lecture-Discussion, Online, Hybrid. Terms Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer. Prerequisite: CJUS-3250 .
