Forensic Psychology Minor

An undergraduate minor in forensic psychology is offered to students majoring in other fields through the . This minor is particularly appropriate for students whose area of study relies on knowledge in psychology and criminal justice, including those majoring in criminal justice as well as other social science and human service related fields (e.g., social work). The forensic psychology minor contributes to preparation for graduate study in criminal justice, psychology, and related areas such as addiction studies, counseling, and law.

Requirements for the Minor
Students must:
- complete at least nine hours of course work at Governors State University; and
- submit transfer courses to the minor advisor for approval by the first week of the semester of intended graduation.
