EDEC - 6550 EDEC - 6550 - Family, Community, & Culture 3 Provides an overview of the cultural differences, child rearing practices, communication patterns, experiences of families, and the life stresses that affect young children and their views of self and others in family, school, and community. Explores ways in which the schools can provide services to families and identifies support networks in the community. Focuses on methods of teaching infants and toddlers.
