HLSC - 3106 Public Health Epidemiology (3) Presents use of descriptive and analytic epidemiology, and include: classification of disease, definitions of incidence and prevalence, uses of rates, rate adjustment, outbreak investigation, study design, cohort studies, case-control studies, experimental studies, life tables, and screening. Instructional Method: Lecture/Discussion and Online. Prerequisites: Admission to the BHS program or course instructor approval. Must have earned 60 Hours of College Credit prior to enrollment.
