Examines the history of Russia during the 20th century. Topics include the fall of czarism, the communist revolution, the Stalin era, World War II, The Cold War, the collapse of the Soviet Union, the post-Cold War period, and Putin and the “New Cold War.” Emphasizes development of knowledge and skills necessary to analyze current historical developments and political changes in Russia Instructional Method: Offered Face-to-Face and Online during Fall, Spring, or Summer terms.
