EMED - 4999 Field Experience III: Student Teaching and Final Professional Development Seminar (12)

Supervised full-time teaching for 15 weeks in a public school under the supervision of a master teacher and a university supervisor. Requires participation in orientation and seminar sessions. Offered fall and spring semesters. Prerequisites:The following EMED courses: EMED-3199, EMED 3321, EMED 3333, EMED-3400 EMED 3404, EMED 3405, EMED 3420, EMED 3425, EMED 3880, EMED-4400 EMED 4404, EMED 4405, EMED 4406, EMED-4425, and EMED-4450. Also ENGL-2131, EDCP-2101 (or equivalent), SPED-2100 or (equivalent), EDUC-2310, EDUC-2330, EDUC-3440, (or equivalents for the EDUC courses). Must have passed the required ILTS Elementary Education (Grades 1-6) Exam and have submitted proof of 100 observation/participation hours.
