NURS - 8210 Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Health (5)

Provides graduate students with field experiences to implement the role of the clinical nurse specialist. Students work with a variety of adult clients incorporating advanced practice models in healthcare settings with course faculty and clinical preceptor supervision. A needs assessment is conducted after which the student identifies a nursing problem for a project that will be implemented and evaluated in NURS-846, Adult Health Internship and Project. Equivalent to NURS-821. Prerequisites: take NURS-8103 , NURS-8108 .
