CHEM - 6441 Advanced Inorganic Chemistry (3) Examines specialized topics in inorganic chemistry. The topics include Structure-Property Correlations for Inorganic Materials: sufficient background knowledge of the topics and techniques used in transition metal chemistry are investigated, and the structure and spectroscopy of molecular systems using symmetry elements and character tables are presented. This course is also intended to understand and critically evaluate the current literature in this field. Prerequisites: A Physical Chemistry course with a lab or their equivalents must be completed prior to enrollment in this course. Corequisite: Enroll concurrently in CHEM-6442
