OCCT - 7810 Occupational Therapy Assessment and Intervention I (3) This course covers assessment/ intervention for infants and children through adolescence. Identification, etiology, progression and prognosis of congenital, developmental, medical, and psychosocial influences upon occupational performance are examined. The course covers the assessment process, including needs identification, the use of specific evaluation procedures, and documentation. Specific emphasis is placed on the role of the occupational therapist in various service delivery settings. OT Practice Framework: Domain and Process will be defined and applied in the context of pediatrics throughout the course. Equivalent to OCCT-800. Prerequisite: take OCCT-7210 and OCCT-7750 . Corequisite courses: OCCT-7220 , OCCT-7811 .
