EDAD - 8103 School Law for Principals (3) Includes analysis and application of legal principles derived from case law, statutes, and administrative regulations affecting Illinois public schools, particularly P-12 students with disabilities and English language learners. Content includes the legal system; roles of federal, state and local governments; the instructional program; students’ rights and responsibilities; collective bargaining; and negligence torts. Prerequisites: take EDAD-7801 , EDAD-7802 .
