NURS - 3160 Gerontological Nursing (3) Focuses on theory, research, and practice of nursing with aging adults. Explores physiological, psychological, social, spiritual, and cultural factors related to health and aging. Emphasizes the nursing process with aging adults and examines community resources that assist older adults to remain in their communities. Explores the interdisciplinary nature of gerontological theory and practice. Requires fieldwork. Equivalent to NURS-306. Corequisite course: NURS-3140 .
