MATH - 8117 History of Mathematical Ideas (3) Concentrates on tracing the development of the history of mathematical ideas, rather than individuals and individual discoveries. Topics include the development of Algebra, Calculus, Geometry and Topology, Probability, and Combinatorics. This course includes a student presentation. Prerequisite: take MATH-2294 .
