HLAD - 8105 Healthcare Human Resource Management (3) Focuses on human resource management, programs, and policies. Addresses recruitment of health professionals, manpower requirements, staffing, training, development, examination of qualifications standards, performance appraisals, and employee morale. Examines methods of developing leadership in supervisory health managers, issues of compensation administration, and specific labor and HRM law governing healthcare institutions. Applies TQM and ethics theories to the HRM process. Equivalent to HLAD-835. Prerequisite: take HLAD-7112 .
