EDEC - 8810 History and Philosophy of Early Childhood Education (3)

Investigates and analyses the status of young children in history, focusing on the development of early childhood education in Western Europe. Traces influences on early childhood education practices in North America and explores emerging cross-cultural exchanges. Equivalent to EDEC-812. Prerequisite: take EDUC-6100 .
