CPSC - 4190 Introduction to Software Engineering (3)
Introduction to the systems development process. Covers the system life cycle, current system documentation through use of classical, and structural tools and techniques for describing process flows, data flows, data structures, file designs, input and output designs, and program specifications. Also covers information gathering and reporting activities and transition into systems analysis and design. Equivalent to CPSC-390. Prerequisite: take CPSC-3142.
