ASTR - 5421 Superstring Theory (2)

Discusses the recent efforts by physicist to combine two important theories: Quantum Mechanics and Einstein’s General Relativity, which are mutually incompatible. Superstring Theory overcomes the incompatibility problem by giving us a new theory called the Theory of Everything (T.O.E.). Equivalent to ASTR-522. Prerequisite: take MATH-1423 .
