MGMT - 8560 Organizational Theory and Design (3)

Introduces the principles of organizational theory and design. Examines topics such as organization design; the external environment of organizations, the impact of organizational goals on organizational effectiveness; organizational technology; organizational bureaucracy, classic organizational structures; the impact of structure on innovation, change, information and control, and decision making in organizations; integrating all parts of an organization; and organizational learning and renewal.
