Provides students with a thorough understanding of international human resource management (IHRM) practices and challenges through an appreciation of international business strategy and cultural, economic and political and legal conditions in different world regions. Differentiates between domestic and international HR, explains the strategic role of IHRM to a multinational enterprise’s performance and competitive advantage and focuses on global talent management and functional aspects of HR in the international context.
