HLSC - 3106 Public Health Epidemiology (3)

Presents the use of descriptive and analytic epidemiology, including the classification of disease, definitions of incidence and prevalence, uses of rates, rate adjustment, outbreak investigation, study design, cohort studies, case-control studies, experimental studies, life tables, and screening. Instructional Method: Offered: Hybrid, Lecture-Discussion, Online. Fall, Spring, and Summer. Prerequisite: HLAD-3104  or equivalant.
