EMED - 3333 Educational Linguistics (3)

Focuses on Common Core English Language Arts knowledge central to students’ achievement of linguistic goals and standards in elementary classrooms (grades 1-6):  morphology, syntax, semantics, sentence structure, grammar, capitalization, punctuation, etc.  Also addresses stages of spelling development as well as phonemic and phonics patterns and principles. Terms Offered: Fall, Spring. Corequisites: EMED-3199  and EMED-3321 .
