NPSE - 9104 Management, Innovation, and Social Entrepreneurship (3)
Explores the process of effective leadership and strategic innovation in nonprofit organizations. A framework for understanding issues facing nonprofit organizations with dual missions of social benefit and financial return on investment is provided through historical and contemporary theories. Strategies for finding solutions to societal problems, techniques for evaluating emerging social ventures, and investigating the management, marketing, and funding required to operate a successful social enterprise are explored.
