EDUC - 2330 Child Growth and Development (3) Explores theories and principles of physical, cognitive/intellectual, linguistic, psychological, and social-emotional growth and development of children from the prenatal period through early adolescence. Investigates causes and characteristics of developmental anomalies. Addresses cultural diversity as related to child rearing patterns and development. Introduces application of this knowledge in planning, implementing, and assessing learning activities for children, birth through early adolescence. This is an IAI-approved, transferable course.
