MATH - 3099 Junior Seminar: Discrete Mathematics (3) Introduces students to the concepts and methods of higher mathematics. Topics include set theory, axiomatic systems, elementary logic, functions and relations, the natural numbers, and mathematical induction. Mathematical rigor, proof strategies, and proof writing are emphasized. Career and professional development opportunities will also be discussed. Prerequisite: MATH-2292 .
