Introduces the fundamental principles and concepts of chemistry. Topics include classification of matter, significant figures, atomic and molecular structure, Avogadro’s number, reactions in solutions, properties of gas and solution, thermochemistry, electronic configuration, periodic relationship, and chemical bonding.
