ART - 3315 History of Design (3)

Studies the history of design, with examples of the applied arts from around the world, with an emphasis on architecture and interior design, furniture design, graphic design, and industrial design. Introduces key examples with consideration of the social, political, theoretical, and artistic context in which they were created. Instructional Method: LD Lecture-Discussion. Semester Offered: Fall, Spring, and Summer.
