ART - 3307 Art Images of Social Justice Movements (3)

Analyzes the art of social justice movements, including (but not limited to) posters, murals, performance art, videos, photography, and graphic novels. Covers examples of art which address/advocate for civil rights, women’s rights, LGBTQIA+ rights (and the rights of other marginalized communities), as well as healthcare rights, global food and housing security, income equality, and more. Instructional Method: LD Lecture-Discussion Semester Offered: Fall, Spring, and Summer.
